Bulk and open space studies for 4 million square feet on 86 acres of land. Adjoining the medical center, the existing area is comprised of parking, recreation and student housing. The site is the next area for expansion of research and outpatient facilities. The design extends a new north south armature of building development along Kendrick Drive with secondary roads reaching east and west to the river; creates a new central open space on Crittenden Road, in front of the existing hospital and a gateway feature building that opens the campus to the river park to the west. Highest density facilities are located adjacent to the medical center while outpatient facilities are further south and closer to a new interchange off the highway.
