China Mobile

Regional Headquarters project designer supporting KX Design

China has designated Tianjin as the northern business center and major companies are building regional facilities to support this expansion. The new headquarters, set on a half block parcel will house administration, business and customer service centers and technical facilities to serve the mobile network. The design expresses the technical leadership of the company while at the same time, incorporating traditional features found in Chinese architecture to note the companies starting point. The building is organized around a large central court with the administrative offices set in a tower with atrium in the center. China Mobile has been playing a leading role in the development of the mobile communications industry in China; it has established a comprehensive network with large coverage, high quality and first-class customer services. It ranks the first in the world in terms of the network scale and the customer base.
